Establishment of Pfeiffer
The company was established by Mr. Horst Pfeiffer on the 12th of November 1974 with its location in Grefrath-Oedt.

Although beginning as a " one man firm " the company developed rapidly.

In 1978 the company moved to its present location in its own small manufacturing departmentwith the associated offices and social facilities ( Located in the industrial area of Kempen.)

 Since 1983 employees have been trained as office clerks, technical designers, millers, Turners and fitters.

The company continued to expand. In 1985 a further department for the PTFE-isostatic lining was established. In 1992 a new warehouse was built and in 1998 fourth expansion was completed with the opening of a new department for the assembling of valves, including office buildings. 

A meeting room was also furnished for internal presentations of Pfeiffer-valves and for the training of the employees.

Pfeiffer has also been a regular exhibitor of the Achema and Interkamma in Germany since 1975 without any absence.

Pfeiffer has been a member of the Samson-group in Frankfurt since 1995 ( To 100%)

Pfeiffer was certified in 1994 acc.to the quality assurance system DIN EN ISO 9001 and more than 100 people are responsible daily for the implementation of this system.

PTFE-Lined Globe Control Valve
 Series 1a

Pfeiffer valves have been reliable in service for decades, not in piplines and vessels only but also for special applications such as oil platforms on drilling rigs.

The very large and wide-ranging Pfeiffer valve program with PFA and PTFE-lined globe valves, incl. lined ball valves and lined butterfly valves were also a component of the product range.

After approximately 15 years, the PFA-lined globe and ball valves were added to the product range.

Because of the many requirements of the various customers, ball and butterfly valves in stainless steel and special material were designed and were also a component of the Pfeiffer-program.

A further expansion was the manufacturing of the bottom drain ball valves and rotary plug valves in stainless steel and in special materials.

At the end of 1980 sampling ball valves and pigging valves were added to the product range and are also available as complete units in the field of system engineering.
